Click, Please During Del's work years there were times when legal advice and assistance were vital to his career and to the programs he introduced and fostered. One of the most protective and supportive attorneys was Gail. Through their business association they became fast friends.

In the picture on the left you see Gail and her two daughters in 2000. The picture on the right shows the three in 2002

Click, Please In the Spring 1997 we returned to Riverside, California for a reunion of the school administrators with whom I had worked. We had shared many successes and ordeals which cemented a strong bond among us.

We gathered at the home of Art and Lucy Lopez who had been an excellent board member and supportive friend. The house is truly a mansion, furnished and decorated in exquisite taste. We were impressed with the sculpted giraffes at the foot of the staircase.

Lucia was on the school board that first hired Del as superintendent of Alvord schools. That school board was dedicated and aware of its proper role. Much was accomplished for the students of the district. Lucia and her husband, Fred, have remained our friends over the years Click, Please

Click, Please During some very stressful times Ray was one of those who provided the greatest support. He was much more than a co-worker---he was a special friend. We spent many hours together planning stategies and enlisting the help of others. After retiring he purchased my house on the Alsea River in Oregon. Here we are shown beside the boat that provided pleasant fishing and sightseeing.

One day at the YMCA in Newport, Oregon, I met a new friend. Johnny Blackburn is still going strong and continuing to write music at 86. He attributes his ability to bounce back from triple bypass surgery last year to the cardiovascular rehabilitation program at the Yaquina Bay Family YMCA. (Photo by Steve Card)

Click, Please In September,1998 we attended a party in Goldendale. It was a celebration of the 62nd anniversary of Stan and Vi and the 90th birthday of Stan. What a wonderful attainment for a caring couple. Here they are demonstrating the love that has stood the test of time.
