Bayshore Mores

Bayshore Home | Bayshore Community

We all want to get along, but knowing everything the community wants or needs to happen is not always possible. We hope this is useful information for renters and Bayshore residents alike.

The Bayshore Bayshore Planning committee sent a letter to all identifiable renters of Bayshore homes. It is designed to clearly state the C&Rs that would affect renters. Click here to see the letter.

FIREWORKS is a topic that every person in Bayshore, permanent and renter, should be aware of.

*****

Fireworks are not permitted in Bayshore. The Board of Directors unanimously passed a motion at the May 4, 2004 board meeting to prohibit fireworks in Bayshore. This was the result of repeated problems in the past year with fireworks being shot off late at night in the Bayshore area. Several residents asked that something be done to curtail this disturbance, as well as fire danger. Thus fireworks in Bayshore was discussed by the board and it was decided to prohibit them. To view the minutes of that meeting click here.

*****

Fireworks are not allowed on any of our state's beaches. This is state law. You can view the state archives directly (Click here) ....... or read it just below.

Here is a dowloadable "renter's list". It is in a jpg format.

Either of these jpg files can be downloaded and saved to your computer by putting the pointer on the picture, mouse down (while holding down control on some computers), drag to "save image as, save image to disk, or whatever text your browser uses", mouse up ..... then follow the dialogue and save the picture file to the place you wish.

One frequent question of "WHAT SHOULD I DO?" has to do with seals and their pups.

  • Mothers won't return when people are nearby. Nursing may take place at night. The pup's best chance for survival is to be left alone.
  • PLEASE STAY AT LEAST 50 METERS AWAY FROM SEAL PUPS.
  • FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS TOUCHING, FEEDING, OR DISTURBING MARINE MAMMALS.
  • REPORT VIOLATIONS TO THE OREGON STATE POLICE.
