My Mother was born in Greene Co.,AR, my father lived there once, my grandparents; John Franklin "Bud" Smith and his wife Flora Alice Payne-Smith had a farm in Finch where they raised 12 kids, Bud Smith's parents, Jack Smith and Matildia Rowland-Smith lived there, Flora's parents, James C. Payne and Alcidora Ward-Payne-Fletcher lived there, two sets of great great grandparents; Gideon and Mary Killcreece- Ward, and Jesse Eppi and Louisa McDaniel - Payne lived there. So I thought it would be good to have a part of my web site dedicated to Greene Co.,AR.My Mother, Dollie Smith, was born in Greene County in 1902.
