Cheese vats
The Food Science Department of a mid-western university needed
bench-top cheese vats for research purposes. We worked with them
to design and construct four vats. The 20-liter stainless steel,
insulated vats are accurately temperature controlled via a computer
program and stirred with a variable speed controller.

Bio-sensor
In collaboration with Oregon State University, Labtronix LLC was
part of a multidisciplinary team that designed and produced a fish
cell (chromatophores) sensor for the rapid and long term detection
of toxins. Several patents are under patent office review for this
project. Possible applications include drug discovery research as
well as monitoring for toxins in the environment, food, and water
