Please submit molds in either test-tube or Petri-dish cultures. Petri-dish cultures must have the entire circumference of the two lids sealed with parafilm. If screw-cap lids are used on test-tubes, the screwcap must also be sealed in a like manner to prevent vibration from shaking the lid loose. This is to avoid contamination of the plate/tube during shipment. Please include the following information with your shipment:
Notify our laboratory in advance of the incoming shipment, leaving your name and a phone number by which you may be reached. We want to assure that our resources are ready for your material when it arrives. Call 541-929-5984. NOTE: Processing of your material may be expedited by notifying our lab of the nature of your material so that we can have needed growth media already prepared if needed for taxonomic identification. Send packages via U.S. Post Office, FedEx, UPS or other courier. For time-critical material, we have found that delivery of material to the U.S. Post Office mailroom at many airports will ensure next-day service (via Express-Mail) to our laboratory. REMEMBER: Careful packing of your material
is critical to ensure material can be observed or subcultured upon receipt.
