Philip is 2 months old today.
At his doctor's visit this morning, Philip weighed 13 lbs. 3 oz. (+34% from birth weight) and was 22.75 inches long (+8%). If he keeps this up, when he's 18 years old he'll weigh 504 lbs. and be 17' tall.

Philip is now 8 weeks old.
He is now able to fall asleep (occasionally) without being held. He enjoys spending time in his crib watching the panda bears on his mobile spin above his head. He seems to recognize that when the mobile's music starts it's time for him to look up and find his panda friends. Philip now laughs frequently, usually for no reason we can figure out, but it beats crying....
When he was 6.5 weeks old, Philip went to see his first movie, Nutty Professor II. He was mostly quiet, occupying his time nursing or lounging with dad. Fortunately the movie theater people didn't have a problem with Dina "sneaking" in his food. Philip also went to Junction City's Scandanavian Fair, but didn't seem very interested in clog dancing for which Dina and I are extremely grateful.
Philip enjoyed his visit with Aunt Sarah very much, and is looking forward to meeting his Aunt Julia this weekend.
