Celebration of the Sacraments: First Communion and Confirmation, May 2, 2010

Here are photos of Jaeden Naylor and Rachel Walton, who received the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist for the first time at the 8 AM Mass on Sunday, May 2. Father Steckler presided. Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Jim Walton, Kent Hansen and Loren Walton provided a beautiful honor guard, and they presented the girls with rosaries. The First Communicants, the students of Religious Education, and the parishioners all participated in crowning the statue of our Blessed Mother for the month of May. At the usual Saint Vincent dePaul breakfast, the girls were honored, as well as our group of parishioners who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on April 17 at St. Augustine parish in Lincoln City, administered by Bishop Kenneth Steiner.
