The one thing that anyone who wears one of my necklaces always says is how many complements they get when they have one on. The positive attention they receive is a wonderful feeling in addition to owning a beautiful piece of jewelry.

I use a variety of gem stones and then frame them with high-quality seed beads. It takes some time to find just the right colors. It helps me to see the person I am making a necklace for, but measurements, color suggestions and a feel for which necklaces you see here that you like can help.

The Oak Barrel is located in the heart of the lovely little town of Yachats, which is located in South Lincoln County on the Central Oregon Coast. Yachats has a population of just over 600 residents, but really grows during the tourist season, when the town's rental properties are full of visitors from the Willamette Valley, Washington, British Columbia and all parts of the world.

Here is what I've been up to lately, quit literally. Sometimes as late as 5 a.m. But they sure are cute. They are hand made pottery animal (piggy) banks. What do you think?

That necklace on my boyfriend was made by me, too! That was us on one of the nicest days you'll ever get on the Oregon Coast at a little known and hard to get to beach called "Camp" by the surfers because it is near a boy scout camp. It is a three mile hike straight down!
